Project Description

As part of GE's Ecomagination campaign, GE converted this vintage carousel to a fully sustainable solar-powered system. The ride’s power comes to consumers courtesy of GE’s thin-film solar technology. Sub Rosa worked with the brand to create an immersive and educational solar experience, equipped with custom-built solar charging stations for electronic devices and a suite of GE-powered lights to help the carousel spin day or night. With tour locations around the country, the GE Carousolar has chalked up quite a few miles as it puts smiles on the faces of patrons young and old.
